Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks News Release
The Chicago Dogs scored seven unanswered runs in Game 2 of the North Division Championship Series on Saturday night to beat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 7-1 in front of 2,510 fans at Impact Field in Rosemont, Ill. The Dogs' win evens the best-of-five NDCS at one game apiece.
The RedHawks opened the scoring with a Dylan Kelly RBI single in the top of the first inning and led for three innings before a solo home run off the bat of T.J. Bennett evened the score for the Dogs. Chicago went on to score six more runs over the next four innings to stretch its lead to six runs.
Ryan Flores picked up the loss for the RedHawks and Jordan Kipper earned the win for Chicago after throwing seven innings of one-run ball.
First pitch for Game 3 at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. With the series tied, at least two more games will be played in Fargo. Tickets for Games 3 and 4 are available at the RedHawks Ticket Office, by phone at 701-235-6161, and online at fmredhawks.com.
