
Dodge 2003 CHL All-Star Game Tonight

TULSA, OK- The 2003 CHL All-Star Game will be held tonight at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. Five Oilers, including coach Garry Unger, forward Todd Marcellus, goalie Rod Branch, forward Jamie Steer, and defenseman Mike Mohr, will be representing the Northern Conference. Oilers equipment manager Steve Enlow and athletic trainer Stuart Nichols are also in Oklahoma City representing the Northern Conference. The festivities will begin at 6:00 with the All-Star Skills Competition. The game between the Northern Conference and the Southern Conference will follow and will begin around 7:30.
Oilers participating in the Skills Competition will be Marcellus (fastest skater and breakaway relay), Mohr (breakaway relay), Steer (rapid fire and breakaway relay), and Branch (breakaway relay and rapid fire). The Oilers reached the All-Star break with a record of 24-12-5, and their 53 points puts them in second place in the Northwest Division standings, one point behind the Blazers. They will return to action this weekend when they host the Amarillo Gorillas on Friday and the Wichita Thunder on Saturday. Both games begin at 7:35 p.m. and will be played at the Tulsa Convention Center.
