PEARL, MS - LHP Dylan Dodd went six strong innings, but the Mississippi Braves (47-54, 18-14) fell to the Biloxi Shuckers (50-49, 16-16) 5-3 in front of a crowd of 5,085 on Saturday night at Trustmark Park.

Landon Stephens chopped a groundball to center field for his first Double-A hit in the second. Stephens was promoted from High-A Rome on Friday, August 5 where he hit .224 with 19 home runs and 70 RBI in 88 games.
The Shuckers scored first in the fourth with a sacrifice fly from Cam Devanney to make it 1-0. Biloxi added another on an RBI double from Corey Ray in the fifth to lead 2-0.
Hendrik Clementina doubled to the gap in right center to lead off the sixth. Cody Milligan smoked a grounder off the second baseman and into right field to score Clementina and make it 2-1.
Biloxi scored two runs in the seventh and another in the eighth to lead 5-1 heading into the final inning.
In the bottom of the ninth, Vaughn Grissom led off with a grounder for a base hit through the left side of the infield. Back-to-back walks then loaded the bases with no outs. Stephens brought in a run on a fielder's choice groundout, and a wild pitch scored a second run to make it 5-3.
