June 24, 2013 - Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL)
Wachusett Dirt Dawgs News Release
The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs are excited to announce their second year of baseball clinics for the weeks of July 8th and July 22nd.
"Last year's baseball clinics were very popular with players teaching all of the attendees," said Scott Lettre, Director of Baseball Operations for the Dirt Dawgs, "Our players this summer are very excited about the opportunity to teach the attendees the fundamentals of baseball!"
The Dirt Dawgs offer the clinic to ages 6-12, and it costs $25 per day or $60 for the whole week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. while the camp runs from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. We are running the clinic two weeks, one on July 8th, 10th, and 12th, while the second week runs on July 22nd, 24th, and 26th.
The clinic is a great opportunity for a youth baseball player to improve on their basic five tools of playing baseball (hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching and catching), while being taught by a player. There are multiple drills that the Dirt Dawgs players will teach that are used to teach each of the five basic tools.
