DiPaolo Announces Commitment to Division I Alaska Fairbanks

Your Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that Defenseman Antonio DiPaolo has announced his commitment to play Division I Hockey at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Antonio is in his first season with the Wings, he has played in 27 games and has 15 points, 5 goals, 10 assists. He is a plus 8 (+-) on the season. Before coming to the Wings Antonio spent time with the Humboldt Broncos and the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the SJHL. The La Ronge, SK native is a 5'11 190lbs, 99 left handed defenseman. Despite it being his first year with the Wings Antonio was named an alternative captain by Wings Head Coach Scott Langer for his leadership skills and work ethic.

"Antonio came to the Wings with an immense amount of leadership qualities & experience. He is a player that has worked for all of his opportunities, and has continued to grow on and off the ice. Antonio's ability to defend and add to the offense will make him a great addition to Coach Largen's Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks." Wings Head Coach Scott Langer.
