Kansas City Comets News Release
Kansas City, MO - On Wednesday, the Kansas City Comets announced that the club has suspended forward Dino Delevski for one week without pay for conduct detrimental to the team.
Delevski will not be in uniform when the Comets travel for a pair of games this weekend, in Milwaukee on Friday (7:00 p.m. kickoff) and in Philadelphia on Saturday (6:35 p.m. Central start time).
"This decision was made with the best interests of the team in mind," said Comets Head Coach and General Manager Zoran Savic. "Dino is an extraordinary player and a valuable member of this club, and we hope to move forward after this."
Delevski, who has won two consecutive MISL Most Valuable Player Awards and SPALDING Scoring Titles, leads the Comets with seven goals and nine points through the team's first four games. He is tied for eighth in the League in scoring and tied for fourth in goals.
