Dillas re-sign Ramos

The Amarillo Dillas announced that the club has re-signed utility infielder Jordan Ramos for the 2007 Season. Ramos batted .241 with 19 RBI in 64 games with the Dillas in 2006.

Originally signed as a free agent, Ramos was traded to the San Angelo Colts for Bryce Morrison (OF), on June 26, 2006. Ramos later returned to the Dillas in a trade that sent Kevin Griffin, catcher, to San Angelo.

Jordan Ramos played his collegiate baseball at Western Oregon University in Monmouth Oregon. Ramos was born in Gig Harbor, Washington and resides in Kent, Washington.

The Amarillo Dillas Baseball Club is a member of United League Baseball, an independent league of six professional baseball teams located in Texas and Louisiana. The United League is preparing for its second season this summer with teams located in Amarillo, Edinburg, Laredo, Harlingen, and San Angelo, Texas; and Alexandria, Louisiana. The ULB will play a 100-game schedule between May and August 2007. Opening Day for all of United League Baseball is May 8, 2007.
