Diesel Look to Extend Streak to Four

Tri-City Diesel News Release
Kearney, NE â The Tri-City Diesel will be looking to extend their winning streak to four this Friday night in Rapid City, SD. The Diesel will face the Black Hills Red Dogs, 0-5, on Friday, April 23 @ 7:00 pm (MTN). Even though the Red Dogs are winless in the 2004 season doesn't mean the Diesel can take them lightly. "Rapid City has far to much talent for us to overlook them, we are preparing for them as if we are playing a 5-0 team, said Diesel Head Coach, Robert Fuller."
Last week the Diesel moved to three games ahead of the Wichita Falls Thunder in the Pacific South Division by beating the Thunder 48-19. Wes Cates, a Columbus, OH native, led the Diesel attack by racking up a record tying 119 yards on just 12 carries. "Wes Cates is the backbone of this offense thanks in large part to the play of our offensive line. Those two together are a big part of why the Diesel are 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the Pacific South Division, added Coach Fuller."
The Tri-City Diesel will return to the Tri-City Arena on May 1st when they take on the Sioux City Bandits with the kickoff being at 7:30 pm. For ticket information to this game please contact the Tri-City Arena Box Office at 308-338-8011.
