Kearney, NEâThe Tri-City Diesel is proud to announce the addition of Leif Murphy to the 2004 roster. Murphy is a 6'3" 260 lb Defensive End from the North Dakota State University. While at NDSU Leif was a 2-year All-American Defensive End and also the Division II Defensive Player of the Year. After graduating NDSU with a degree in Physical Education Leif pursued a football career in the Canadian Football League. During the 2002 season he was a Defensive Lineman for the Ottawa Renegades (CFL). In 2003 Murphy played for the Bismarck Roughriders for a total of three games. In those three games he tallied 10 ½ tackles and also had 3 QB sacks.
