Diego Kapelan Placed on Inactive Roster (Foreign League)

St. John's Edge News Release

St. John's, NL - Diego Kapelan of the St. John's Edge has been placed on the Inactive Roster (Foreign League).

Kapelan has accepted an offer to play for Soles de Mexicali in the Mexican LNBP Professional League. Diego has been a strong part of the Edge this season and more recently a catalyst to the offence with his innate three-point shooting ability.

The entire St. John's Edge organization wish Diego and his family the best for now and into the future.

With Diego being placed on the inactive roster, the Edge can replace him on the roster while retaining his rights. This is a rule put in place by the NBL Canada this year. The player that will fill the roster spot will be named as the "Inactive Roster Replacement".
