
Diamond Jaxx Return Home To Pringles Park

(Jackson, TN) April 9th-The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx hit the field at Pringles Park for the first time in 2008 as they begin their opening homestand tonight at 7:05 against the Huntsville Stars. The first 1,000 fans into the gates will receive a 2008 Diamond Jaxx Schedule Poster compliments of Tennessee Industrial Printing. Also, the Vault RXT Truck will be at Pringles Park with representatives from Coca-Cola handing out samples of their Vault beverages to fans upon exit.
The Vault RXT Truck will be back on Thursday, April 10th with samples of Coke Zero for Diamond Jaxx fans to enjoy. Jaxx fans can also quench their thirst with our "Thirsty Thursday" promotion. 24-oz. Coke fountain drinks and 16-oz. draft beers will be two for the price of one. Thursday night will also be the Madison County Dixie Youth Baseball/Softball Night at Pringles Park. As part of this, the gates will open at 5:00 p.m.
Friday, April 11th, is sure to be a good day for the Jaxx. The festivities will get an early start with a "Meet the Players" luncheon at "The Warehouse" at Englewood Baptist Church. Fans will have the chance to meet, get autographs, and have lunch with the 2008 Diamond Jaxx from 11:30am until 1:00pm. Luncheon tickets can be pre-ordered for $6.00 (or $10.00 including a general admission ticket to that night's game) by visiting the Diamond Jaxx Box Office at Pringles Park or by calling the Civic Center at 731-425-8580.
That night at Pringles Park, it will be the Carl Perkins Center Child Abuse Awareness Night and Fish Fry Friday, sponsored by NewsTalk 101.5. Your family can enjoy a special treat at Pringles Park - a freshly prepared catfish dinner including four pieces of fish, french fries, hushpuppies, slaw, and a drink for only $10.00. After the game, the Jaxx and WBBJ will light up the sky with a spectacular post game fireworks event. Plus, a select few fans could be lucky enough to win FREE gas from Horizon Travel Plaza and kids 12 and under can Run the Bases after the game courtesy of Jackson Energy Authority (JEA).
The lovable Nashville Predators mascot, Gnash, will be on hand Saturday, April 12th to present a check to the American Red Cross in its tornado relief efforts. In addition it will be a Sam's Town Saturday Night. Fans 21 years of age and older will receive a special offer from Sam's Town Hotel and Casino in Tunica, MS. Kids will be allowed to Run the Bases after the game courtesy of JEA.
The homestand concludes with a 1:05pm game on Sunday, April 13th. The Lexington Little League will be holding their Opening Ceremonies at the ballpark that day. Jaxx fans who bring their Church Bulletin to the Diamond Jaxx Box Office to the Sunday afternoon game will receive a free general admission ticket to that day's game. There will also be ice cream specials and kids can Run the Bases following the game courtesy of JEA!
Unless otherwise noted, all games start at 7:05pm (CST). Gates are scheduled to open one hour before the start of each game. Individual game tickets, season ticket packages, group outings, picnics and promotional opportunities are currently being booked for the upcoming season.
