
Diamond Dogs Introduce Tickets On-line

Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs News Release
Colonie, New York - The Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs announced today that, effective immediately, fans now have the ability to purchase individual game tickets for all Diamond Dogs home games on-line at their website http://www.diamonddogs.com.
The new on-line capability to purchase game tickets on-line offers fans a $2.00 discount on all game tickets Sunday through Wednesday for Diamond Dog games at Heritage Park. Fans may specify a desired seating section and all tickets will be allocated on a "best available" basis at the time of the purchase. Tickets may be picked up at the will call booth the day of the game at Heritage Park, or they will be mailed to the buyer if time permits.
The newly designed Diamond Dogs website was developed by Ed Mayo, a sports marketing professor at Western Michigan University. The website is a work-in-progress for the sports websites of the future. The website features a variety of ways in which fans can interact with the Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs organization, included in those are "Homer's" daily trivia game which generates a variety of prizes, and the opportunity to communicate with Diamond Dogs Manager Mike Marshall and Diamond Dogs players.
