CLASH OF THE XSL TITANS ON SUNDAY!
Come watch the two biggest players in the league go head-to-head on Sunday afternoon! The Ignition's Worteh Sampson, who is known as "The Giant" and stands at 6'1" 211 lbs, will face off against Shawn Boney of the New Jersey Ironmen. Boney stands at 6'7", 265 lbs. Don't miss the action as the Ignition try to stay in first place and keep their winning streak alive! Kick off is at 4:35 pm at Compuware Arena.

NOMINATE THE SOCCER MOM, MANAGER AND COACH OF THE YEAR!
The Detroit Ignition are currently seeking their 2009 Soccer Mom, Manager and Coach of the Year! In 150 words or less, reward your favorite soccer mom by nominating her to win! Be sure to include with the nomination your name, soccer club/team and the name of the person you are nominating. Deadline for entries is Sunday, February 8th. DANCE CLINIC FEBRUARUY 7!
The Detroit Ignition will be holding the club's semi-annual Dance Clinic on February 7 at High Velocity Sports in Canton. This clinic will be instructed by our professional dancers and staff for the dancer, age 7-18, and is open to all dance levels, gymnasts, cheer, dance, and pom teams. All participants will learn a dynamic hip-hop jazz routine that will be performed during the Ignition game at Compuware Arena when the Ignition host Milwaukee on Sunday, March 8.

PLAY WHERE THE PROS PLAY!
Would your youth soccer team like to play on the official playing field of the Detroit Ignition? Turf Time tournaments are organized prior to each Ignition home game - your team can even play at halftime! The club is currently looking for teams to play in the following tournaments:
For March 20: U13 Girls
For April 3:U13 Boys

PIZZA PARTY WITH THE IGNITION!

Kick off your school year with the Detroit Ignition! The team is now scheduling school assemblies for the 2008-09 school year. The Ignition School Assembly Program is geared towards students from kindergarten through middle school. The interactive assembly program brings professional indoor soccer players into schools throughout the Metro-Detroit area. With topics including the importance of setting goals, making the right choices, and living a healthy lifestyle, having the Ignition come to your school is both fun and informative.
