Columbus Destroyers News Release
COLUMBUS, OH â As preparations continue for this Sunday's matchup with the Tampa Bay Storm, the Arena Football League's Columbus Destroyers have waived offensive specialist CoCo Blalock and wide receiver/defensive back Jarrail Jackson, and released defensive specialist Prentice Taylor and offensive/defensive lineman Jason Walters, the team announced today.
Blalock appeared in all ten games with the Destroyers this season, recording 47 receptions for 433 yards and three touchdowns. He also returned 23 kickoffs for 409 yards, giving him 952 all-purpose yards on the season.
Jackson, who spent four of the last five weeks on injured reserve with a foot injury, had ten catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns in six games played in 2004.
