Dallas Desperados News Release
After activating OL/DL Ronnie Washburn from the Reserve/Injured list to the active roster late yesterday afternoon, the Dallas Desperados waived Washburn today.
Washburn saw action in the first three games of the season, totaling a tackle, one sack, a tackle for a loss and a pass defensed while catching one pass for 14 yards. He hyperextended his elbow during practice preparing for Dallas' game at New York and was placed on the Reserve/Injured list May 9. He remained on IR until being activated late Tuesday.
Today's transaction leaves the Desperados with 23 players on their roster.
