Dallas Desperados News Release

With two consecutive victories at Reunion Arena under their belt, the Dallas Desperados hit the road for the first time this season as they travel to Orlando, FL, to face the Predators on Sunday. The 2:00 p.m. (Dallas time) game will be televised by NBC Sports, with Tom Hammond and Pat Haden calling the game.

The Desperados and Predators faced each other in the 2002 regular season finale in Dallas, with the outcome not determined until the final gun. Orlando scored with 6.1 seconds left to take a 44-41 lead and had to watch as Jason Wells missed a game-tying 48-yard field goal as the clock expired. The loss caused Dallas to finish the regular season with a 7-7 record and to settle for the eighth playoff spot.

The Desperados begin preparations for the Predators on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Texas Stadium. They will continue their work Thursday (Feb. 13) and Friday (Feb. 14) at Texas Stadium before departing for Orlando on Saturday.

The Desperados do not return to Reunion Arena until March 7 when they host the Colorado Crush. Tickets for the Crush game can be purchased by calling the Desperados ticket office at 972-785-4900, visiting area TicketMaster locations or by visiting the Desperados website at www.dallasdesperados.com.
