Denver Outlaws News Release

DENVER - The Denver Outlaws (6-1) will retire former defenseman Matt Bocklet's No. 7 jersey in a pregame ceremony ahead of their matchup with the Dallas Rattlers (0-7) on Sunday at Broncos Stadium at Mile High (2 p.m. MDT faceoff).

Bocklet played for the Outlaws from 2009-18 and is the franchise's all-time leader in games played with 144. The South Salem, N.Y., native made five career MLL All-Star games, ranks No. 3 on the league's all-time ground balls list and was team captain for all three of the Outlaws' championship wins (2014, '16, '18).

Bocklet announced his retirement immediately following the Outlaws' 2018 championship victory and was hired in December as the team's defensive coordinator and manager of Outlaws Academy.

Sunday's game will be broadcast live on Altitude and available to stream live through AltitudeNOW.com and the AltitudeNOW mobile app. The game will also be broadcast live nationally on ESPN+.
