CARY, NC - The North Carolina Courage are excited to announce that Denise O'Sullivan has been called to represent the Republic of Ireland in the Pinatar Cup. The squad will play a series of three matches from February 16-22, with their first competition taking place in the quarterfinal round against Poland.
On the international stage, O'Sullivan has scored 18 goals for Ireland, having represented her country since 2010 and clocking 4,878 minutes of playing time. In 2015, the Cork, Ireland native was named the FAI Senior International Player of the Year. Later, in November 2019, O'Sullivan was named The Irish Times/Sport Ireland's Sportswoman of the Month. Most recently, O'Sullivan tallied a hat trick in a Women's World Cup Qualifier against Georgia, leading her country to a dominant 11-0 victory.
