WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Monday that they have re-signed Colin Joe for the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot, 185-pound defenseman joined the Eagles last November as a rookie, after beginning the season with the Bakersfield Condors. In 49 games with Colorado, Joe collected six goals and four assists, while finishing with a plus-minus rating of plus-3.

"I wasn't sure what to expect when I first came in last season, but I was really pleased with way things progressed," said Joe. "You can't help but have great things to say about the coaching staff and the organization, as a whole. I'm really excited to get the season going."

The Edmonton, Alberta native spent five seasons at the University of Alberta, registering 60 points in 128 games and finishing with a cumulative plus-minus rating of plus-76. Joe capped off his career by helping the Golden Bears win a CIS Championship in 2014. Joe also captured a WHL Championship with the Kelowna Rockets in 2005. He would finish his major-junior career with 55 points in 314 WHL games split between Kelowna and the Saskatoon Blades.

Season tickets for the 2015-16 season are on-sale now and can be reserved with a $50 deposit per seat by calling the Eagles ticket office at 970-686-SHOT (7468). The 2015-16 regular season home schedule kicks off on Friday, October 16th when the Eagles host the Utah Grizzlies. A complete schedule can be found at www.ColoradoEagles.com.
