Defender Wyatt Omsberg Joins TRFC on Loan

The Tulsa Roughnecks FC is adding some manpower to the club's backline. It was announced today that defender Wyatt Omsberg is joining TRFC on loan from the Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer The 6'4" rookie was the 15th selection in this year's MLS SuperDraft.

Omsberg played collegiately at Dartmouth College where he was a two-time Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year and three-time first-team All-Ivy honoree. The 22-year-old has made one appearance for Minnesota United this season, starting and playing all 90 minutes in the March 24th match against the New York Red Bulls.

Omsberg is expected to be available for Tulsa's match this Saturday in Sacramento against the Republic.

TRFC will return to ONEOK Field on Wednesday, May 9 to take on Reno 1868 FC. Tickets for all matches this season are available online at RoughnecksFC.com, by calling (918) 744-5998 or by visiting the ONEOK Field ticket office.
