
Defender Cody Bragg and Forward Mike Apple Named to USL Team of the Week

Cody Bragg and Mike Apple were recognized by the United Soccer League Monday when they were named to the Second Division Team of the Week. Both were commended for their play to a 1-1 draw against the first place Richmond Kickers.
Apple, who scored a goal for the HOUNDS®, returns to the Riverhounds from his most recent team, the St. Louis Steamers of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Apple was with the Riverhounds in 1999-2001 and during the 2004 season.
Bragg was also noted for leading the Riverhounds to a 1-1 draw last weekend with an assist. Bragg has been with the Riverhounds since 2004 when he averaged more than 81 minutes per game.
The Riverhounds also announced they signed Forward Romain Cheurlin and Defender Gregg Chevalier.
Cheurlin joins the Riverhounds after playing with Guegnon, a professional team in France. The 19-year-old is the youngest player on the team
Chevalier re-joins the Riverhounds after having played with them in 2004. He played professionally for the Atlanta Silverbacks in 2005 where he served as captain for their U-23 team.
The Riverhounds will host the Cincinnati Kings to a match at Falconi Field on Saturday, June 10th. Kick off is scheduled for 7:05. The match will be televised on FSN Pittsburgh and it will be broadcast on Fox Sports Pittsburgh 970 a.m.
