Debinha Named to Brazilian National Team Roster for the International Friendly Tournament in Manaus, Brazil

Cary, NC - The North Carolina Courage have announced that Debinha has been called to represent Brazil for the International Friendly Tournament in Manaus, Brazil from November 22 to December 2. Brazil will play in a series of friendly matches, including a match against India on November 25, Venezuela on November 28 and Chile on December 1.

On the international stage, Debinha has scored 45 goals for Brazil, and in February of 2021, she recorded her 100th cap for the squad during the SheBelieves Cup and recently represented her country in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

For the Courage this season, Debinha has appeared in nineteen matches and clocked 1,660 minutes of playing time, registering 39 shots taken, 22 of which were on target, adding three goals, two assists, six successful crosses and 40 key passes. In the postseason, Debinha helped lead her Courage side to the NWSL quarterfinals in which they faced the Washington Spirit last Sunday, falling 1-0 in overtime and ending their 2021 NWSL season.
