ROANOKE, Va., August 7, 2002 â The Roanoke Dazzle and North Charleston Lowgators will open the second National Basketball Development League preseason, with a 7 p.m. tipoff on Thursday, November 7 at the North Charleston Coliseum.
The Dazzle's home preseason date is scheduled Monday, November 11, against the Mobile Revelers in a 7 p.m. tipoff at the Roanoke Civic Center.
The National Basketball Development League, the NBA's minor league, will tip off the 2002-03 regular season on November 15. Each NBDL team will play two preseason games, one at home, and one on the road, from November 7-12. Teams will play a 50-game regular-season schedule.
Roanoke opens the regular season with two Roanoke Civic Center dates, November 15 and 16, against the Huntsville Flight and Fayetteville Patriots, respectively.

The NBDL offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA's umbrella. Eight NBDL players and one head coach were called up to the NBA during the NBDL's inaugural season.
