
Dazzle Battle Back to Beat Riverdragons

ROANOKE , Va , December 13, 2003 â After trailing as much as 15 the Dazzle battled back to a 95-89 overtime win at home on Saturday night.
With 10.5 seconds left Marque Perry hit a fade away basket to make it 82-82 and take the Dazzle into overtime. Perry went on to hit four straight free throws to ice it for the Dazzle in overtime.
"You have to come play every night in this league this is not like college," said Head Coach Kent Davison. "We're playing good teams every night. Every team in this league has good players, so you to come out ready to play."
Mikki Moore had a double-double with 23 points and 18 rebounds. The other players in double figures were: Mike King 20, Marque Perry 11, Josh Asselin 13, and George Williams 11.
"We softened up," Riverdragons Head Coach. "That's been a big problem for us this year. We have to play hard from start to finish."
Erza Williams scored 29 points and Erron Maxey added 19 for the Riverdragons.
The Dazzle improves to 5-2. They take on Charleston on tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m.
