
Dazzle Acquires Terrence Shannon

GREENVILLE, S.C., November 29 â The Roanoke Dazzle has acquired forward Terrence Shannon from the National Basketball Development League available player pool, according to an announcement today by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Dazzle head coach Kent Davison. Roanoke also waived forward George Williams.
Shannon, who was in training camp with the Detroit Pistons, returns to Roanoke where he was an honorable mention All-NBDL selection in each of the last two seasons. At 6-7 and 185-pounds, Shannon has played in 84 games for the Dazzle, averaging 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds.
The Elgin Community College ('02) product is expected to be in uniform for the Dazzle's next game at Huntsville on Saturday. He will wear jersey #33.
