Dayton Gems To Donate Auction Proceeds To Air Force Aid Fund

Following the Gems game on January 29thwhen the Dayton Gems honored the U. S. Air Force during Wright Patterson Night, the team's special Air Force Camouflage jerseys were auctioned off to benefit the Air Force Aid Fund. This program provides assistance to all Air Force and their families. Today at 1pm at Wright Patterson, Coach John Marks will proudly present the proceeds from the auction donating a check for $3000 from the Gems.

This Thursday evening at 6pm the Gems will be at Wiley's Comedy Club for the UpDayton Entertainment Speed Matching event. If you've always wanted to learn more about hockey and to meet other entertainment organizations from the Miami Valley this is the chance.

On Friday the Gems hit the road and head to Flint for a 730pm face off against the Generals. Fans can listen or watch the B2 network with Gems announcer Tom Michaels at the Gems website: www.daytongems.com.

Kettering Community Night - Show your community pride!

Dayton Spiritual Television will be hosting the evening sponsored by DATV (Time Warner Local Cable Access Station). Faith groups are encouraged to attend and group seating is available. Dayton Spiritual TV will be in the lobby handing out information and signing people up for prize drawings.

That evening is also the Gems Kettering Community Night. The Gems welcome friends, families, businesses and local groups from Kettering to support theircommunities. Group seating is available. Kettering, Fairmont and Alter schools are encouraged to participate.

Join the Tipp City and Troy Hockey Fans for Gems "City vs City Night". The Gems welcome friends, families, businesses and local groups from Troy and Tipp City to support their communities. Group seating and fund raising programs are available. Troy and Tipp City Schools are encouraged to participate.

City of Trotwood Community Night - Sponsored by Trotwood Parks and Recreation.

February 27th, when the Gems take on the Quad City Mallards at Hara Arena at 730p, is Trotwood Community Night. The Gems welcome friends, families, businesses and local groups from Trotwood to support theircommunities. Group seating is available. Trotwood Madison schools are encouraged to participate. This is a special city night sponsored by the Trotwood Parks and Recreation Department. A portion of all presale tickets purchased will benefit the Parks and Recreation Department - contact Mr. Terry Lodge for tickets and group participation at 837 - 7771.

All adult tickets only $10. Student and Children tickets $7. Groups are welcome and parking is free.

Monday eveningsjoin the GemsatFox and Hound in Beavercreekat 9pm as they become Dayton Iconjudges.
