Dayton Gems News Release

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Gems professional hockey team, a proud member of the "AA" Central Hockey League, are excited to announce the official launch of the team's completely redesigned website www.DaytonGems.com .

Designed by Gems official marketing partner Niche Productions and Gems Director of Graphic Design Ashley Lentz, the brand new DaytonGems.com features a refined navigational menu and much more emphasis on social and multimedia content.

Fans logging on will be taken to a site designed to portray the same family friendly entertainment experience found during each Gems home game inside Hara Arena. Incorporating video, audio and images as well as more emphasis on social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter, visitors to the new DaytonGems.com will provide for rich and interactive browsing.

"The new DaytonGems.com gives visitors a better insight into what Dayton Gems hockey is all about. We have a story to tell, and the new design helps us do that" noted Lentz.

The redesign, completed by Dayton-based marketing and production company Niche Productions, now puts the online look in line with the external marketing seen throughout the Miami Valley to maintain consistency across all channels.

The newly redesigned site is live now, with fans being encouraged to check it out for themselves at www.DaytonGems.com .

The Gems return to action on Wednesday night in Texas when they face the Brahmas at 8pm before returning home to host the Allen Americans on Cassano's Italian Ice inside Hara Arena this Friday at 7pm and then the Bloomington Blaze on Cassano's Italian Ice this Saturday night at 7pm.

Tickets to both upcoming Gems home games this weekend are available now by calling the Gems ticket office at 275-7777 or by visiting the new www.DaytonGems.com .
