Dayton Gems Fall To Bloomington PrairieThunder 3 - 1

Dayton, Ohio - The Dayton Gems traveled to US Cellular Coliseum to face the Bloomington Prairie Thunder. Bloomington controlled the 1st.scoring twice. Dayton made it's move in the 2nd when Matt Auffrey scored with the help of Corey Couturier and Joe Van Culin. In the 3rd the Prairie Thunder kept the Gems from making it to the net and added another goal to finish the evening 3 - 1. The Gems standings are now 17 - 21 - 3 - 1.

This Friday, January 29th the Dayton Gems will be honoring the U. S. Air Force during Wright Patterson Night. The team will be wearing special Air Force Camouflage jerseys. Immediately following the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the Air Force Aid Society. This program provides assistance to all Air Force and their families. That evening when the Gems take on the Bloomington Prairie Thunder, all base employees, active duty andretired military will receive abuy one ticket get one ticket free discount.
