Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lake County Captains (affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in the fifth game of a six-game series.
2021 Season Series: Lake County 3, Dayton 1.
Last Game: Friday: Lake County 8, Dayton 4. The Captains led 2-0 going to the bottom of the sixth inning before extending their lead over the next three innings to 8-0. The Dragons offense came alive in the top of the ninth as they collected three extra base hits and scored four runs. Dayton set team season highs for most doubles in a game (5) and most extra base hits in a game (6). Michael Siani had a double and a triple to lead a 10-hit attack.
Player Notes
Jacob Hurtubise is third in the High-A Central League in On-Base Percentage (.420) despite going 3 for 21 over his last six games. He is tied for seventh in runs scored. Hurtubise has 16 stolen bases on the year to rank fourth in the league and tied for seventh in all of Minor League Baseball (120 teams), four behind the national leader. He has stolen 11 bases in the last 12 games.
Francisco Urbaez over his last 10 games is 13 for 33 (.394) with two home runs.
Reliever Braxton Roxby has not allowed a run in 11.1 innings, surrendering just three hits and six walks. He has struck out 18 of 47 batters faced.
Reliever Francis Peguero has allowed only one run in eight innings, allowing just five hits and two walks.

Team Notes
The Dragons have lost three straight games for the second time this season. They have not lost four straight games in 2021. The three-game losing streak comes on the heels of winning five out of the previous seven games.
Dayton begins the day in second place, one and one-half games behind West Michigan in the Central League East Division.
Dayton has held at least a share of first place after 20 of the 28 games they have played this season. The have not been lower than second place in the standings and have not been more than their current one and one-half games out of first at any time this season.
