Day 3 at ICE Training Camp Presented by Hilton Garden Inn Winnipeg South

Aiden Oiring scored four goals to lead Team Stoll to an 8-5 win over Team Krebs in the final prospects game this morning at the RINK Training Centre. Owen Callow, Brayden Edwards, Omen Harmacy and Foxx McColl also scored while Ty Fraser with a pair, Evan Friesen, Ryder Ringor and Josh Mettimano replied for Team Krebs.

With the addition of ICE veterans early this afternoon for Main Camp, 51 players are now involved and have been divided into three teams. Each squad, named after ICE alumni Nigel Dawes, Brayden McNabb and Sam Reinhart, went through a late day practice and will begin a round robin format of intra squad games vying for the annual Jarret Stoll Cup over the next two days.

Main Camp concludes with the Showcase Game presented by the Hilton Garden Inn Winnipeg South Monday morning at 10:30. This game will feature a number of returning players including former 1st and 2nd overall picks from the WHL Prospects Draft Matt Savoie and Conor Geekie. Fans who present their proof of full vaccination are welcome to watch the Showcase Game. Children under 12 years of age will be permitted to attend provided they attend with a fully vaccinated adult from the same household. Masks will be mandatory for spectators.

Donations to the Winnipeg ICE Education Fund will be accepted at the door upon entry. All donations go towards the post secondary education of current and former Winnipeg ICE players. A reminder, ICE Fans who attend the Showcase Game will be treated to a complimentary pancake breakfast prior to the game starting at 9:30AM.

** Saturday and Sunday's Main Training Camp remains closed to the public. Only parents / guardians and media will be permitted to attend as approved spectators. All approved spectators during training camp will adhere to the protocols implemented by the RINK Training Centre at that time. All WHL Players and Staff continue to adhere to the WHL Vaccination Policy.
