Glens Falls Dragons News Release
Glens Falls: The Diamonddawgs never had a lead in Glens Falls until the top of the 11th inning when Colin Hawk (Cincinnati) smoked an RBI double to the right center gap and drove in Jake Glauser (Southern Maine). They would go on to win the game 6 to 3. What a time they chose as they jumped on the tiring righty Ben Brown (Coker) who finished the game with 2 innings pitched allowing the 3 runs to score in the inning but only 2 of them being earned.
Lukas Godlewski (Herkimer CCC) pitched well for Mohawk Valley and got the win (2-0) as he went 4.2 innings and only allowed 2 hits. Enzo Esposito (Millersville) picked up the save as he pitched a perfect 11th inning in his first relief appearance with the Diamonddawgs.
Hawk would highlight the Dawgs offensive effort as he went 3 for 5 at the dish with a run scored and an RBI. Jake Glauser also pitched in 2 runs scored as he went 1 for 3.
The Golden Eagles got their spark in the form of Garret Bernardo (Anderson) who went 2 for 4 with a run scored. Lance Miles (Kansas State) would get the lone RBI for the Golden Eagles as he went 1 for 4.
