Defensive honors went to defensive end DEREK WALKER, who set a league record with an 83-yard fumble recovery returned for a touchdown in the Hartford Colonials' overtime loss to the Las Vegas Locos, whose kicker STEVE HAUSCHKA won the game in sudden death with a 53-yard field goal to take the Special Teams vote.

Offense - Daunte Culpepper, QB, Sacramento Mountain Lions
Defense - Derek Walker, DE, Hartford Colonials
Special Teams - Steve Hauschka, K, Las Vegas Locos
In his Orlando homecoming, Culpepper scored the decisive touchdown on a 10-yard quarterback draw just inside the two-minute warning to give the Mountain Lions a 21-17 victory over the Florida Tuskers in the Florida Citrus Bowl where he starred for the University of Central Florida from 1995 to 1998. Culpepper completed 31 of 49 pass attempts - both figures setting new league records - for 259 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
"We were in position to win the game and we made the most of the opportunity," said Culpepper. "This was probably a great game to watch if you were a fan, but when you're in it, it's a game of ups and down and you're trying to stay on an even keel."
In the first half, Culpepper orchestrated a 97-yard scoring march that resulted in a six-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Maxwell that both cut the Tuskers' lead to 10-7 and revitalized Sacramento's offense. Before that, the Mountain Lions had failed to earn a first down on their opening five possessions.
"Once he got in his rhythm, Daunte was ok," said Sacramento head coach Dennis Green. "We went no-huddle and let him go with the things he was comfortable with. It made a lot of difference."
Culpepper also won the Player of the Week award in recognition of a Week 2 come-from-behind 24-20 victory over the Florida Tuskers at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, when he set a new UFL single-game record with 374 passing yards.
Hartford Colonials defensive end Derek Walker, in his first UFL season, set a new league record by returning a fumble 83 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter of his team's 24-21 overtime loss at the Las Vegas Locomotives. Walker also broke up a pass in the defeat and won the weekly defensive vote.
Walker spent the 2010 NFL training camp with the San Francisco 49ers having been an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins in 2009, and also spent time on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. At Illinois, he played in 51 career games, starting 35, and posted 110 tackles, 15 sacks and 24.5 tackles for loss in his college career. He was the team's defensive lineman of the year in 2006, leading the team with 5.5 sacks.
For the second week in a row, Hauschka earned the UFL Special Teams Player of the Week award, this time after hitting the game-winning 53-yard field goal with 17 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Locomotives a 24-21 win over the Colonials in the league's longest-ever game. Hauschka also made two extra points and kicked three touchbacks in the victory.
"I hit it pretty solid on my foot and I felt it, so I knew it was going to be good," said Hauschka of the game-winning field goal.
In Week 5, Hauschka was honored as he tied a league record by hitting four field goals of 47, 44, 34 and 36 yards in a single game. In his pro career, the North Carolina State product signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2008 and has played for the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions.
