Date and Venue Changes Made for Blues' Upcoming Games Against Harrisburg

FULLERTON, Calif. - The Blues are pleased to announce they have found a solution to unexpected scheduling problems at Titan Stadium on the campus of Cal State Fullerton this week. The upcoming pair of crucial USL PRO meetings with the Harrisburg City Islanders, originally scheduled for Thursday and Saturday, has been moved to Friday at Fullerton College's Sherbeck Field and Sunday at Titan Stadium (5 p.m. PT).

While the kickoff time for Friday's match has been tentatively set for 4 p.m. PT, the Blues front office is in conversations with Fullerton College officials to try and allow more of their fans to attend by changing it to 5 p.m. PT. The clash with Harrisburg will mark the third time Orange County 's only professional team will take the field on the school's campus this season, after taking on Wilmington there on May 4 and Ventura County in the U.S. Open Cup on May 22.

"We're extremely excited to be returning to Sherbeck Field for this tremendously important USL PRO match," Blues Business Manager Sophie Russell said. "Players love the state-of-the-art facilities there, and the Fullerton College staff has been extremely helpful and accommodating in the planning and execution of our past matches on their campus.

"We'd also like to thank Cal State Fullerton for allowing us to move the second match to Sunday on such short notice. Given that we'll now take on Harrisburg on Friday, we didn't want to risk unnecessary exhaustion and injuries to either team's players by making them play again the very next day. That's why it was a top priority for us to move the second meeting to Sunday, and we're delighted that we were able to."

During Friday's and Sunday's games against the City Islanders, the Blues will be raffling off bigger and better prizes than ever before in their history, including a $499 voucher for the Auto Tint Specialist and a $99 voucher for Rhino Custom Detailing as well as plenty of gift certificates for select partners (CaliFire Grill, 300 Anaheim, UltaLuxe Anaheim Cinemas, Sport Clips Fullerton and the Cornerstone Family Wellness Center).
