The first of a three game road series for the Dashers turned out to be favorable one as they get 3 points overcoming a 3-0 deficit to start the game, to win 5-3.
Prowlers opened the game with three straight goals in the first seven minutes Dalton Jay netted assists for all 3. Matt Robertson, Matt Graham and Marvin Powell all netting goals.
Danville would not go away that quick. Brandon Contratto and Fred Hien scored for the Dashers to stop the bleeding and face just a 1-goal deficit going into the intermission.
From then on Matt Kaludis was a brick wall saving all 29 Prowler attempts at the net in the 2nd and 3rd Periods. Fred Hein completed his hat trick with an empty netter late in the third after getting the go-ahead goal 18 seconds into the final frame. Danville cuts their standings deficit from 11 to 8, for the final play off spot in the FHL.
These two teams square off again tomorrow. Puck drops at 7pm Eastern.
