BLAINE, MN - The Corpus Christi IceRays were down two goals after 40 minutes, however, stormed back to take game one in overtime over the Soo Eagles off the stick of Perry D'Arrisso.

The IceRays ran into a hot goalie to start the game and Soo took advantage. On the power-play, Eric Rivard put the Eagles on the board 13:08 into the first period.

In the second period, Jayce Douskey scooped up a rebound and beat IceRays goaltender Jett Salinas 13:35 into the middle period to take a 2-0 lead.

Corpus Christi started the comeback courtesy of Ian McGilvrey. He notched his first goal as an IceRay on the power-play 3:09 into the final period to split the Soo lead in half.

Brandon Smith returned to the IceRays and had an impact. Smith fed Tommy Telesca at the 8:12 mark of the third period to tie the game at two apiece.

Corpus took the lead when Brandon Berkley hit Rudy Sulmonte with a backdoor pass with 11:07 left to go in regulation, but the Eagles would strike back.
