
Danville Braves 2015 Opening NIght Monday

DANVILLE, VA - The Danville Braves would like to welcome and encourage fans and local media to partake in the opening week festivities at American Legion Post 325 field. The Danville Braves will host a five game home stand for their opening week, including a three game series against the Kingsport Mets, and will conclude the home stand with two games against the Princeton Rays.
Opening night will be Monday, June 29th at 7 p.m. against the Kingsport Mets. Opening night is also the first Faith Night of the year as there will be a live Christian band performance on the patio of the stadium. Also, the first 1,000 fans will receive a free magnet schedule courtesy of the Danville Braves, and it is also Dollar Dog Night presented by Kunzler Meats.
Tuesday, June 30th will be Virginia 529 night at the ballpark. All children grades K-12 will receive free admission when they present a final report card with the student maintaining at least a B average for the year. Those students who qualify should be at the stadium by 6 pm to receive on-field recognition for their hard work at 6:15. Also it is Tall Boy Tuesdays, select 16 ounce canned beers will be at a discounted rate through the seventh inning. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
Wednesday, July 1st the D-Braves will conclude their three game series with the Kingsport Mets, game time is set for 7 p.m.
Thirsty Thursday sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings will be Thursday, July 2nd against the Princeton Rays. Draft beer and fountain sodas will be discounted through the seventh inning of the contest. July 2nd is also Father's Day Celebration and Virginia Putative Father Registry Night presented by Virginia Department of Social Services. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
The Braves will conclude their five game home stand Friday, July 3rd against the Princeton Rays. Friday will also be our first Military Appreciation night sponsored by Miller Brewing, Angus Heating & Air, and Blackwell Motors. All active duty and retired military personnel will receive free admission with valid military I.D. Thank you cards presented by Piedmont Printing and Graphics will be available on the concourse in honor of our military to benefit Operation Gratitude. Also, there will be post-game fireworks sponsored by Piedmont Credit Union. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
Advance tickets will be the same price as 2014, individual game tickets in the Blue Reserved are $7.00, General Admission $5.00, Youth (14-and-under) and Senior (60-and-up) $4.00. Day of game tickets will be $8.00 (reserved), $6.00 (GA), and $5.00 (youth and senior GA).
