Danuel House Scores 33 as Vipers Extend Winning Streak to Nine Games

Hidalgo, Texas, - The NBA G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers, affiliate of the Houston Rockets, defeated Texas Legends 130-126 to extend their winning streak to nine games.

Danuel House scored 33 points for Rio Grande Valley. RGV's Chinanu Onuaku had 15 rebounds in the game. Texas' Justin Dentmon led both teams in scoring with 48 points. Johnathan Motley had a double-double for the Legends with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

House had the hot hand for the Vipers early on in the game. Going 3-of-4 from beyond the arc, he finished the first quarter with 12 points. The Vipers were able to edge out the Legends to finish the opening quarter with a 31-30 lead.

After going scoreless in the first quarter, Texas' Johnathan Motley found his rhythm in the second quarter. Motley scored 17 points in the second quarter. The Vipers were able to hold on to their lead and finished the first half on top 66-64.

Justin Dentmon scored 14 points in the third quarter. The Legends were able to grab the lead in the closing minutes of the quarter. The Vipers trailed 91-92 at the beginning of the final quarter.

RJ Hunter found his shot in the fourth quarter, going 4-of-6 from beyond the three-point line. Danuel House added another 10 points as the Vipers secured their ninth win in a row.

The Rio Grande Vipers hit the road to face Main Red Claws on Saturday, December 2. The Vipers return to the State Farm Arena on December 12 against Agua Caliente Clippers.
