Danger Add to 2016 Roster

GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA - Nebraska Danger Head Coach Mike Davis has announced the addition of a number of players to the 2016 roster, including a trade with the Cedar Rapids Titans for 2015 All-IFL Defensive Back/Linebacker James Ackel and a key addition to seal up the offensive line, Kasimili Uitalia.
"We are going to have a lot of new faces this season," Davis said. "A lot of the guys that we are bringing into camp are rookies or only have a little experience, so I'm really looking for these guys to step up and fight for a spot on the final roster."
Up to 40 players can be brought into pre-season camp, but the roster will need to be cut down to 25 players before the first regular season game.
"All of these players know that they have to compete for a spot on our championship caliber roster. I'm really excited about this season because I know these new guys are hitting the weight rooms now in order to come to camp at peak physical shape," Davis said.
In an interleague pre-season game, the Danger will take on the Omaha Beef of the Champions Indoor Football league (CIF) on Friday, February 19th at 7:05pm at the Ralston Arena, the home of the Omaha Beef.
The Danger, three time Intense Conference Champions, will begin the 2016 regular season on February 27th at home against the Wichita Falls Nighthawks. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
