D'Amigo's Overtime Goal Gives Toronto 3-0 Series Lead

The Toronto Marlies defeated the Chicago Wolves, AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, by a score of 4-3 in overtime tonight at Ricoh Coliseum. With the win, the Marlies now hold a 3-0 series lead in their best-of-seven Western Conference Semifinal.

T.J. Brennan would score the game's first goal on a power play at 5:26 of the opening frame. Chicago forward Dmitrij Jaskin would tie the game at one before Peter Holland scored Toronto's second goal less than a minute later. Adam Cracknell would once again tie the game with less than two minutes remaining in the first period, only for Toronto's Brandon Kozun to notch his 3rd tally of the playoffs just 11 seconds later. Tyler Shattock would score the only other goal in regulation to send the game into overtime. AHL postseason scoring leader Jerry D'Amigo notched the game winning goal at 3:28 of the first overtime period to give the Marlies a 3-0 series lead.
