Dallman Named to USL PRO Team of the Week

Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh Riverhounds midfielder, Matt Dallman, was selected to this week's USL PRO Team of the Week for Week Nine of the 2013 season. Dallman's selection came after recording assists on both goals by the Riverhounds in their 2-2 draw with Dayton in front of a crowd of 3,422 excited fans at Pittsburgh's newest downtown stadium.
This week is Dallman's third selection to the USL PRO Team of the Week, after receiving recognition in Week Four for his assist to the Riverhounds' lone goal against Harrisburg at Highmark Stadium on April 13 in front of a sold out crow (3,922), and honorable mention in Week Five.
"It feels great to be receiving this honor for the second time this season," said Dallman. "I want to commend my teammates and their hard work to complete my crosses and score goals. I wouldn't be receiving this recognition without their efforts."
Joining Dallman this week are forward Jhonny Arteaga and defender Andrew Marshall, both receiving honorable mentions for their strong efforts against Dayton. In Saturday's game, Arteaga recorded his first goal of the season in the 10th minute of play after receiving a right-footed cross from Dallman. Marshall had a standout performance in center back helping to keep the Riverhounds' lead 2-0 in the first half of the game.
Dallman and the Riverhounds return to USL PRO action this Friday, May 24, at Highmark Stadium where they will take on the Antigua Barracuda. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
