DALLAS - Dallas Trinity FC has acquired forward Jasmine Hamid from Fort Lauderdale United FC via transfer in exchange for an undisclosed fee, the club announced today.

Hamid, 24, played a pivotal role in Fort Lauderdale's inaugural 2024/25 campaign, starting 26 of 28 matches and logging more than 2,000 minutes. The Towson University product recorded nine goals and two assists, earning league-wide recognition for her performances. She was the only player in the Super League to be named Player of the Month twice - doing so in consecutive months - and earned three Team of the Month selections. Following the regular season, Hamid was named to the All-League Second Team, capping a standout campaign.

"I'm super excited to be here," said Jasmine Hamid, forward for Dallas Trinity FC. "The environment is professional and great, and I'm really looking forward to being involved. I'm happy with how welcoming everyone has been, and I'm super excited to get on the field to play for the fans and the team."

In her second Gainbridge Super League season (2025/26), the Alexandria, Va., native has appeared in 19 matches (16 starts), recording four goals - tied for second on the team - and one assist. She has earned Team of the Month honors twice (October and February).

"Credit to Dallas Trinity FC President and Founder Charlie Neil for his work in getting this deal over the finish line," said Chris Petrucelli, General Manager of Dallas Trinity FC. "Jasmine is a proven talent in the Gainbridge Super League, with the ability to score goals and change games. She brings dynamic attacking quality and playmaking ability to our group, and we're excited to welcome her to Dallas."

Prior to Fort Lauderdale, Hamid spent time with NWSL side Bay FC as a preseason trialist in January 2024. She later signed with Swedish club BK Häcken, making two appearances for the senior team.

Dallas currently sits in fourth place in the Gainbridge Super League standings, holding onto a playoff position. The club wraps up its four-match homestand this Saturday, April 4, hosting Spokane Zephyr FC (6-8-8, 26 points) at Cotton Bowl Stadium at 4:30 p.m. CT as part of its "Celebrating Our Abilities" match, presented by Scottish Rite for Children. The match will air on KFAA and stream on WFAA+, Peacock, and TUDN Radio.
