Dallas Renegades News Release
Houston improves to 4-0, and is the only undefeated team in the XFL. Dallas falls to 2-2, with both losses coming at home, while being victorious in their two road games.
Dallas' Donald Parham continued his stellar play, catching six balls for 56 yards. His TD reception in the first quarter was his 4th in as many games. He is the only tight end in the league with more than one receiving touchdown.
Dallas was successful going for both a 2-point conversion, as well as a 3-point conversion for the first times this season.
Dallas' punter Drew Galitz, who came into the game leading the league in net-punt yards, improved his number with four punts for a 47.3 net yards per punt with his longest punt of the season of 59 yards. He also landed his sixth punt inside the 20 in the 3rd quarter.
Dallas DE Frank Alexander was a force defensively, with three pass deflections today. That gives him five for the season, which currently leads the league for defensive lineman.
Dallas' kicker Austin MacGinnis remained perfect on the season with his one field goal in the first half. He is the only kicker in the league who is perfect, hitting on all eight of his field-goal attempts this season.
Houston's four interceptions today brings them to nine total INT's for the year. Those interceptions have turned in to scoring drives on six possessions (4 TD's & 2 FG)
Houston's Deatrick Nichols recorded two interceptions in the 1st quarter, giving him three for the season. That mark currently leads the league through four games.
Houston punter Austin Rehkov knocked a 60-yard punt in the fourth quarter, which was a season-high for him.
