OPENING DAY JUST OVER TWO WEEKS AWAY
The 2004 MLS season is just over two weeks away as the Burn will kick off the season on Saturday, April 3 as they host the Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m. at the Cotton Bowl. Dallas Burn season tickets are on sale now with season seats starting as low as $78 with full season ticket packages as well as a variety of mini-packages. BURN TOPS UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS, 4-0
The Burn got a pair of goals from forward Eddie Johnson as they defeated the University of Memphis, 4-0, Saturday at the University of Texas @ Dallas. Johnson struck in the 55th and 76th minutes while Bobby Rhine tallied in the 57th minute and Jason Thompson added the final goal in the 85th minute.

BURN TO FACE VIRGINIA BEACH MARINERS FRIDAY
The Burn will travel to Virginia Beach on Wednesday in preparation for their match against the A-League Mariners on Friday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. (CT). The Mariners feature MLS all-time leading scorer Roy Lassiter as well as former Burn forward Hamisi Amani-Dove.
GIBBS BACK IN DALLAS AFTER EARNING NINTH CAP WITH US SIDE
Burn defender Cory Gibbs returned to Dallas today after earning his ninth cap with the US National Team and trained with the team on Monday afternoon. Gibbs played the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 tie with Haiti on Saturday and came within inches of netting the match's first goal, but his header at the end of the first half was cleared off of the goal line by the Haitian defense.
