Daleo donates tickets for Lightning's home opener

The Rockford Lightning today announced that Head Coach Chris Daleo has donated tickets for the Lightning's Home Opener on November 20th. Daleo will be donating tickets to Milestone. These tickets are being donated in the name of Mark Taphorn. Taphorn is a resident of Milestone and a longtime season ticket holder and supporter of the Lightning.

"This just goes to show how civically minded Coach Daleo is," said Lightning General Manager Michael Neville. "Not only does he have the best interests of the Lightning in mind, but also the Rockford community as well."

Mark is such a great Lightning fan. He sits right behind me and is at every game." said Daleo. "This way Mark can take his basketball, volleyball and baseball teammates to opening night. This is my way to thank Mark for having to listen to me over the past three years."

This donation is part of the Lightning's "Send a Kid" program. Anyone interested in taking part in "Send a Kid", information can be obtained by calling the Lightning office. Lightning season tickets are currently on sale. Ticket packages start as low as $63.00. Lightning open up their home season on Nov.20th versus the Gary Steelheads.
