Dale Murphy To Appear At Smokies Park Next Thursday

KODAK, Tenn. - Former Atlanta Braves great Dale Murphy will be back at Smokies Park for a second consecutive year as the Tennessee Smokies' guest next Thursday, June 24. Murphy will first be a guest speaker at the team's 12:00 p.m. luncheon in his honor at the Double Play Caf restaurant inside the stadium, and then later that evening for the Smokies' 7:15 p.m. game against the Carolina Mudcats.

Murphy's first appearance on the 24th will be at a luncheon hosted by the Smokies for the general public inside the stadium's Double Play Caf restaurant. Tickets for the luncheon are $25 for adults, $20 for Smokies season ticket holders and $15 for children 12-and-under. Murphy will be speaking during the luncheon and sign autographs after it. A silent auction will also be taking place the event, featuring both Atlanta Braves and Tennessee Smokies memorabilia. Net proceeds from the luncheon will go to benefit the United Way of Sevier County.

During the game, Murphy will be on-hand inside the stadium Double Play Caf on the third base side to meet with fans and sign autographs.
