Dahm named Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Niagara IceDogs' goaltender Sebastien Dahm is the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday January 27 after posting a 3-0-0-0 record with a 1.35 goals against average and .952 save percentage in three games.

Dahm started the week with 24 saves in an 8-3 win over the Erie Otters on Thursday. He made seven saves after taking over for starter Lucas Lobsinger midway through the game on Friday to help the IceDogs rally for a 6-3 win over the Kingston Frontenacs. Dahm finished the week with 29 saves and first star honours in a 3-1 win over the Sarnia Sting on Sunday.

The 20-year-old from Copenhagen, Denmark improved his season record to 14-21-1-2 with a 3.23 goals against average and .916 save percentage in 39 games this season. He is 6-2-0-0 with a pair of shutouts since joining the IceDogs earlier this month from Sudbury.
