
"Da Beard" Brett Keisel Is Coming to Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN - Two-time Super Bowl champion and popular Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end BRETT KEISEL will drop the ceremonial first puck and meet fans during the Tomahawks home game on Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m.
The event, sponsored by Precious Metals & Diamond Company, BCL Manufacturing Inc. and RNDT, Inc., begins at Richland Fire Hall for an exclusive diner reception at 4 p.m.
Brett will discuss his career, the current Steelers, fishing, hunting and life after football, followed by a meet and greet. For reception tickets, visit johnstowntomahawks.com/brettkeisel.
Following dinner, KEISEL will join the Tomahawks fans by dropping the first puck and be available for a meet-and-greet as the team takes on the WB/Scranton Knights.
Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in seventh round of the 2002 NFL Draft from Brigham Young University, Keisel enjoyed a 12-season professional football career which saw him rack up 30 career sacks and 408 tackles.
The Provo, Utah native was a part of two Super Bowl-winning Steelers teams.
Keisel, affectionately known as "The Diesel," is perhaps best recognized for his beard which has been called "The Greatest Beard of All-Time" and has raised thousands of dollars to support different charities.
Additionally, the annual Guns & Hoses game will be held in conjunction with Brett Keisel Night on Saturday, March 9. The traditional charity game between Johnstown police and firefighters will take place after the Tomahawks game and will benefit the Special Olympics of Western Pennsylvania.

The Tomahawks return to action on Saturday, Jan. 26 when they travel to Massachusetts to take on the Northeast Generals at the New England Sports Village at 7 p.m.
Johnstown is back on home ice February 1-2 for Kids Weekend presented by Hogue's Fun Factory. Saturday, Feb. 2 is Chopper's birthday celebration along with mascot mania and other kid-themed activities throughout the night.
