POWELL HONORED: Arkansas forward Roger Powell has been named by D-League head coaches as the recipient of the 2006-07 Jason Collier Sportsmanship Award, which honors a player who best represents the ideals of character and conduct on the court. Powell will be honored at the RimRockers final home game on Saturday.
VINICIUS RECALLED: The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets recalled forward Marcus Vinicius from the Tulsa 66ers on Thursday. Vinicius played in 13 games (six starts) with the 66ers, averaging 16.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 33.0 minutes of play.
