COACH 'EM UP: The Iowa expansion team is expected to name its coaching staff in a press conference this afternoon in Des Moines.
THEY SAID IT: "I didn't want to sit at the end of the bench and just be there the whole time. I made the decision to go back to the (D-League) and work on my game ... I knew I had to polish up my skills before I was thrown back into the free agent market. A lot of people thought I was stupid for giving up that money. But I wasn't in it for money. I was in it to get my career going." ... Nets C/F Mikki Moore told USA Today about his decision to give back $500,000 of his salary to the Pistons to play in the D-League in 2002-03.

-Martell Webster (FTW) started, scored 14 points and grabbed four rebounds in 38 minutes for Portland.
-Ersan Ilyasova (TUL) started, played 26 minuets and collected seven rebounds for Milwaukee.
-Rafer Alston (MOB) started, scored 13, had four rebounds and three assists in 41 minutes for the Rockets.
-Gerald Green (FAY/FLA) came off the Celtics bench to play 17 minutes, score 10 points and get five rebounds.
