LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League were able to hold off a late surge by the Idaho Stampede this afternoon at STAPLES Center, winning their second game in a row 98-95.

Los Angeles outscored the Stampede 26-19 in the final quarter after falling behind early in the second half.

The D-Fenders received key baskets from guards Daniel Horton and Andre Emmett down the stretch. Emmett led the D-Fenders with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Idaho had numerous chances to win the game, but did not score in the final 2 minutes.

"It was a great win and I'm going to take it. We haven't had a lot of breaks this year, but we got a couple of breaks today," said D-Fenders Head Coach Dan Pannagio.

Los Angeles' bench outscored Idaho's reserves 72-8. D-Fenders center Wesley Wilson added 21 points and 5 steals off the bench.

"The D-Fenders played a great game. I give them all the credit. They played great today," said Idaho Head Coach Bryan Gates.

Idaho still leads this series 3-2 and the two teams have one match-up left. The D-Fenders now sit at 21-23 (.477).
